Homes, offices, shopfronts and cars we've tinted around Perth. Worth a look before you book anyone — ours or otherwise — because a finished tint job is easier to judge in a photograph than in a brochure.

What to look for in a tint job
Most people looking at tinting photos aren't sure what they're supposed to be judging. There are four things, and once you know them you'll spot a rushed job in any installer's gallery, including ours.
The edges
Film should sit tight to the frame with a consistent, narrow gap all the way round. Wavy edges or a gap that varies down one side means it was trimmed in a hurry — and edges are where film starts to lift.
The surface
No specks, no bubbles, no creases. Small water pockets in the first few days are normal and clear on their own. Anything trapped under the film is permanent.
The colour
Consistent pane to pane, and neutral rather than blue or bronze unless that was the brief. Purple is dyed film that has broken down under UV.
And the one people forget
Look at what's behind the glass. On a good residential install you should still be able to see into the room, and the view out should look like the view, not like a filter. Film that makes a photo look moody is usually film that makes a room look dim.

Homes
West-facing living areas, alfresco sliders and glass doors. Mostly ceramic and spectrally selective film, kept light so rooms don't lose their daylight. See home window tinting.

Cars
Looking to tint a car?
If you're looking to tint a car, call us or drop in. All automotive work is done at 4/53 May Holman Drive, Bassendean. We don't tint vehicles on site.
You'll see the workshop in the photos above, and it's the reason the car results look the way they do. Film goes on wet and stays tacky while the adhesive sets, so anything airborne that lands on it in that window is trapped permanently. An enclosed, controlled space is the only way to reliably avoid it.
Most cars take two to four hours. Ring with your make, model and year and we'll price it on the call.
