Finding the workshop
We're in the light industrial pocket off May Holman Drive in Bassendean, a short run from Guildford Road and Great Eastern Highway. Unit 4 — look for the Solarban WA signage rather than the street number, which is easy to miss coming in.
If you're dropping a car in, park in front of the unit. Bassendean train station is about a fifteen-minute walk if you're leaving the car with us for the morning, and there are cafes on Old Perth Road.

Nobody enjoys sending an enquiry into silence. Here's the honest sequence, including the bit where it depends on the time of year.
- We get back to you
Usually the same working day if you've called or emailed during business hours. Enquiries that land over a weekend get picked up Monday.
- We work out what you need
For cars, that's a conversation about the vehicle. For homes and buildings, we'll arrange a time to come and measure.
- Free on-site quote
We measure every window, check which way each room faces, and hold film samples against your own glass in your own light.
- Written quote
Itemised, with the film named, so you can treat everything or just the glass that's causing trouble.
One thing worth knowing about timing
October through March is our busiest stretch, for the obvious reason. If you ring in late January because a room has become unbearable, you're joining a queue with everyone else who did the same. April to August is quiet, and it's the easiest time to get something scheduled without waiting.
Before you call
What to have handy
None of this is essential, but it makes the first conversation much shorter.
- For a car — make, model and year. That's usually enough for a price over the phone.
- For a house — roughly which rooms are the problem, and which way they face. West and north-facing glass is where film earns its keep.
- For a business — the address, roughly how much glass, and whether the work needs to happen outside trading hours.
- For anything heritage-listed or strata-managed — worth checking your council or by-laws first, since approvals sometimes apply.
